If you are seeking Lake County area attorney referrals, please complete this form. PLEASE NOTE: The Lake County Bar Association CANNOT answer legal questions or offer any type of legal advice – Only name of referral attorneys.
Once the form is submitted, you will receive three (3) names and phone numbers of attorneys concentrating in the area of law selected from the drop-down menu below. Once you have received the lawyer referrals from the Lake County Bar Association, it is up to you to contact each attorney’s office.

Frequently Asked Questions
There are NO practicing attorneys on staff at the Lake County Bar Association. For an attorney referral, please call the Lawyer Referral Service at (219) 738-1905 Monday to Thursday from 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. and Fridays from 8:30 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
The LCBA’s Lawyer Referral Service provides callers with referrals to qualified lawyers who can help them with their legal issue. The LRS staff cannot give legal advice but can provide referrals in virtually all areas of the law. The lawyers are referred on a rotational basis by their area of legal expertise. All the attorneys on the LRS panel are full-fee attorneys in private practice. The LRS does not maintain fee information on the panelists.
The Lake County Bar Association does NOT have the authority to independently investigate or act upon allegations of lawyer misconduct. The Indiana Supreme Court’s Disciplinary Commission performs that role. To obtain that information and/or a complaint form, log on to the Disciplinary Commission Website, or call (317) 232-1807.
The Lake County Bar Association does NOT provide lawyers to take cases for free or reduced fees. Please contact Northwest Indiana Volunteer Lawyers, Inc. at (219) 945-1799.
